Rigby came to Penny Lane as a 6 weeks old orphaned foal. He was separated from his dam (mother) following a round-up. He was very ill and malnourished when he was brought into Penny Lane Foal Rescue,  immediately receiving intensive veterinarian care for an upper respiratory infection, umbilical hernia, and hyperreactive lymph nodes. He was placed on a series of antibiotics and a specialized feeding program.

 

Rigby is going on 7 years old, stands at 14.3 hands, 780 pounds, and is flourishing at Penny Lane. He is a lovebug and comedian! He stands for the farrier, grooming, and leads/transitions well at the walk and trot. Rigby is wearing a saddle, has been started very slowly at the walk under saddle, and maneuvers confidently on the ground around a variety of trail obstacles with ease. He is a very confident, playful, curious, willing, and highly social Mustang. While Rigby still needs time to mature, he will eventually make a great therapy horse, trail horse, companion, or cart horse. Additionally, he is gelded and UTD on vaccinations, trims, and de-worming. Rigby is available for adoption.
